A Child’s Prayer is a 501c3 non-profit in WA state formed in 2017 and joined Kato and Sylia Edwards in their humanitarian efforts.

Lonnie and Teresa where many hats in their local community including: pastoring a small church, nursing, cessna wing repair, and hobby farm.

Their fundraising efforts with “A Child’s Prayer” are aimed at providing nutrition, education, clothing, and arts enrichment programs to the children of Lukwanga Village, Wakisu District Uganda.

Lukwanga Children’s Aid is an NGO formed in 2016 to provide nutrition and education to the severely poor children of Lukwanga Village, Uganda. Kato had to fight to pull himself out of poverty and now has an incredible passion to change the trajectory of this community in which he grew up. Kato is the principle at Faith Heart School which opened in 2021. Currently serving 366 children. He is a politician in his community as well fighting for the rights of the people of Lukwanga and bordering villages. Sylia spends her days on the school site keeping the school programs organized and the teachers and students happy. They are parents to three beautiful children Shelby , Levi and Bert
